The Great Outdoors: Inner beauty in the backdrop of nature

All retreats at Peace Village invite guests to journey inward and reconnect with the sacred space within themselves. The Great Outdoors retreat offers a unique opportunity to experience that same inner stillness through a deep connection with nature. Through silent walks, time in sacred outdoor spaces such as our Peace Park and reflection pond, and hands-on beautification of the campus grounds, participants will have the chance to slow down, listen deeply, and rediscover their relationship with the natural world. Rather than taking from nature, we will explore what it means to give to nature—with gratitude, care, elevated awareness, and virtue-filled thoughts. Through connection with nature, silence, and service, discover how to become a positive influence on your surroundings rather than being affected by the world around you.
